Koch lives and works in Dallas, Texas.
He has taught for many years in the
Art Department at Southern Methodist
University. Mr. Koch has been in many
invitational exhibitions, both statewide
and nationally. His works focus on wood
and on materials or conditions that
influence or effect the wood. The piece
is the Texas Sculpture Garden is about
different ways that wood is changed
by mankind (made into plywood, etc.)
and the effects of nature (weather,
beavers, rotting). It is part of a series
called Elements of Change.
