Marcus used to live and work in Dallas,
Texas but has recently relocated to
New York. She was trained as a painter
and a sculptor and graduated with honors
from the Kansas City Art Institute,
in Kansas City, Missouri. Her painted
aluminum strips are bolted together
to make larger forms. Ms. Marcus represented
Texas at the National Museum of Women
in the Arts exhibition in Washington,
D.C. and has had her works displayed
nationally.
