Bautista Moroles is the best-known stone
carver in Texas, known nationally and
internationally. He constantly receives
commissions for public and private collections.
His favorite stone is granite and he
is known for his delicate slender cuts
in stone totems with curvilinear designs
that produce musical sounds when stroked.
Mr. Moroles is also known for his large
one-piece granite fountains with water
gently sheeting the surface. His recent
exhibitions are sell-outs. He lives
and works in Rockport, Texas.
