Michael
Pavlovsky is well-known for his bronze
sculpture totems with human and archeological
elements. The work commissioned by Hall,
entitled Perserverence, is about mankind
helping each other to achieve their
goals. Mr. Pavlovsky's important commissions
include a large-scale sculpture for
the National Civil Rights Museum in
Memphis, Tennessee, a veterans war memorial
in Grapevine, Texas and a large piece
for Botanical Gardens in his home town
of Fort Worth, Texas, where he lives
and works.
